We are currently seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team! You will work daily with our trade partners, code officials, team members, and clients throughout the construction and warranty process.

Responsibilities:

•            Lead the estimation process for various residential construction projects.
•            Perform accurate material take-offs for each project with attention to detail.
•            Evaluate trades and suppliers, effectively managing our trade/vendor database.
•            Update cost and retail pricing for all residential projects.
•            Compile comprehensive Job Start Packages for construction teams.
•            Develop strategies for cost reduction and manage direct cost variances. Generate essential management reports.
•            Provide regular communication with homeowners through CoConstruct to inform them of progress
•            Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
•            Maintain daily communication with independent contractors and suppliers through CoConstruct to ensure the timely completion of work
•            Provide regular communication with homeowners through CoConstruct to inform them of progress on-site
•            Review shop drawings and quotes for trusses, I-Joist, headers, and window & door orders
•            Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
•            Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to the original plans and specifications
•            Supervise onsite personnel and trade partners

Qualifications:

•            Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction in a management role Minimum 3 years as a construction estimator.
•            Team-oriented, with a commitment to excellence for clients, colleagues, and the company.
•            Proficient in negotiation and capable of safeguarding company interests.
•            In-depth knowledge of the residential building process.
•            Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints, grading plans, and floor plans.
•            Ability to self-perform material takeoffs as needed
•            Must have multi-disciplinary knowledge of residential construction materials and techniques
•            Previous experience in VA and working with local agencies is a plus
•            Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
•            Proficient in construction documentation and estimating software
•            Fluent in standard Office technology/software
•            Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
•            Strong analytical, logical, and research abilities.
•            Integrity, professionalism, and a strong leadership presence.

Salary & Benefits:

• $78,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience.
